Like so many other business owners, I fell into entrepreneurship because I wanted to pursue my creative talents on my own terms.
After a few years of freelancing and going to the racetrack for many years, I created Killer Mile Motorsports in December 2014, to focus on graphic design and photography for small business owners, race teams, and organizations.
I have an Associate’s degree in Graphic Communications & Printing Technology from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, where I began to pursue graphic design in a professional manor, with a photography minor.
After graduating from Thaddeus Stevens, I began figuring things out by trial and error in the industry. As I came across effective tips, procedures, and tactics for starting and excelling a photography and graphic design business, I put my own spin on them.
Within the 1st year, I had successfully started booking several clients and helping create endless designs and photos for them, as well as growing my own reach on social media.
Flash forward to 2018, I have started to design, market, and grow my business on the Killer Mile Motorsports blog as it addresses some of the problems and it helps answer many questions other creatives in my field has a helpful tool of shareable hidden knowledge and content.
It wasn’t long before my passion became two-fold. It started as a love of design and photography, and helping others put their professional foot forward in their respective industries.
Aside from the racing industry and photography, I am a full time graphic artist for Legacy Athletic. Legacy Athletic is a head wear, home decor, and apparel company, located in Hanover, PA.
Why I do what I do
I believe that we’re all created with distinct talents and abilities and they aren’t meant to be kept in secret. Helping other people bring their dreams of owning a business and pursuing their passions on their own terms is one of my greatest joys. It’s an honor to share what I’ve learned with you and help you along in your entrepreneurial journey with great images, creative designs, and focused content.
